Hi everybody!! We have been very busy. I can't put pictures up yet but soon I hope.

I think we have done more in 4 weeks in Utah than 4 years in Arizona. Just this week alone we : 1 -went to a baseball game (Go Raptors!! yeah they didn't win) , 2 - watched Robert play church softball, 3 - Hiked to Waterfall Canyon (which I almost didn't survive!!), 4 - Went to a niece's birthday party, 5 - watched the fireworks for the 24th, 6 - went swimming with friends, 7 - went to the splash pad (really cool and fun for the kids), 8 - had a run-in with a friends dog, and I'm thinking I missed 2 days. Hmn...... I can't remember. I'm sure I took a picture then I'll remember. :) But we are enjoying Utah. (we visited lots of friends this week also. ) Oh plus I dried bananas for our hike. I feel all domesticated.. :)

Tomorrow I am going to start painting the kitchen. We took a break for a few weeks and now here I go. We couldn't decide on a color so I am just painting it white. Then it will be crisp and clean. We can accent it if we want to later.

This week is going to be just as hectic.

Monday - paint kitchen
Tuesday - Traylor has a play date with a friend
Wednesday - park city with Wendy
Thursday - LAGOON!! Traylor has been waiting for this.
Friday - fireworks, parade, etc....
Saturday - bounce back to Lagoon day with Robert
Sunday - Relax

Now if I could get some sleep tonight. Right after I put Roberts clothes for tomorrow in the dryer. :)

We have internet!!! I will be posting lots of stuff soon. We are finally settled in Utah. We still have boxes to unpack but we can live with what's out right now. The whole upstairs except the hallway is done. There will be pictures. We are really enjoying being back in Utah and by Family. It makes it so much fun!!

So long bloggy friends. Internet is done as of when I get off the computer. I don't know when we are getting Internet in Utah. I'll have to go use my sisters computer I guess. How will I survive!!!

But anywho, We are mostly packed in the Uhaul. Little odds and ends now. We are not going to get our deposit because there is too much too do with not enough time. Oh well. I'll throw myself a pity party when in Utah.

My feet hurt. I'm so not used to standing all day. I am so ready to be done packing. I think we have a few odds and ends to pack. Tomorrow we get the Uhaul and tomorrow night the Elders Quorum comes and helps us with the big, heavy stuff. Yeah!!! Thursday everything has to be clean and done in the carpeted rooms. We are getting them steam cleaned. And everything sprayed for bugs. I want that deposit. That means an extra week that I don't have to work!! But I did learn today that the people(my bil and sil) are cleaning my house in Utah. So not to much too worry about up there I hope. The people from the rental place come from to do the final inspection at 1:00 and then we are officially not Sierra Vistains any more. (I'm not sure how you would say that) vistaites.... oh well

I definitely need to post some pictures. I am long overdue but as of Thursday I won't have Internet until .......... I don't know. I know, cry with me. boo hoo

This time next week I should be getting ready to sleep in my old house again for the first time in over 4 years. We are so tired from packing and we're not done yet. We still have to clean and clean and clean some more. On a positive note, we had a good anniversary on thursday (11 years) and also a great garage sale today. yee ha :)

We are moving!!! This is my last day of may in Arizona. We are moving up mid June. R found a new job and so that puts us close to family again. We are very excited!! But if you come to our house just know it is a mess. I have much to do and I am still going to work up to the last few days before we leave. Craziness!!

So I can say it now...... I am now the 2nd couselor in the primary. I was sustained and set apart today. I'm pretty excited. I've been in this primary as a teacher for oh.......3 1/2 years now. I am going to miss my kids. I teach the CTR 5 class. They are so cute! All the girls came and gave me a hug today in class after I told them that this was my last sunday with them. But.. I will still see them every week so its all good. Plus I'll get to see how Traylor is in the Sr primary. hehe. I've never been in a presidency before (well except when I was a youth). Our first meeting is tuesday. Wish me well.

So my big pull my hair out moment came thursday when the gal I was teaching my job to for the last 2 1/2 weeks decided to up and quit without telling anyone. I was helping out in reception for a bit and helping her when she needed help. (personally she shouldn't have needed help after 2 1/2 weeks of training) She knew what she was doing. I had been sitting with her the whole time. My last day with her was supposed to be friday. So she was going to be on her own monday but we would help if she needed it. (Monday I was supposed to go back to reception so I could have fridays off). At around 9:15 I looked over and she wasn't there. I just thought she was at the bathroom. I had just helped her with an issue. But then I looked again at oh... 9:45 and she wasn't there again. I went over to my desk and the screen was black which means she had been gone for awhile. I looked in the cupboard and her purse was gone. I looked in the drawer and all of her notes were gone. Her car was gone also. Noone saw her leave and she didn't say anything to anybody. I was pretty pissed because I had just given her the keys on wednesday for this position and she just dropped them in a bucket on the counter. (I work with the money and so just putting the keys down anywhere was not cool). Well the boss heard about it and tried calling her and she of course doesn't answer her phone. But the boss already said that she'll not take her back. So now I am stuck at this job again until they find someone else. No fridays off. I am a little bummed.
But I am okay today. Back to work tomorrow as usual.

I tried to do a cute heart in Traylor's hair for school today but I didn't give myself time. She still loved it though. I think she looks cute.

She had a great day. I went afterwork for the party. I thought there would be other parents there to help but I was the lone parent. And they were happy to have me there. I helped where I could. It was kind of fun watching old Alvin and the Chipmunks Valentines Movies.

Robert had been gone all this week to Alabama for work. He didn't get home until late friday night. It was nice to have him home again.

I know I know Valentines was a week ago but I'm just getting around to it now. Traylor really enjoys getting cards for all her classmates. For the last 2 years she has been in a 2 teacher class. So that means she has 47 kids in her class. It actually works out awesome and the kids still get one on one time. Anywho it makes for a lot of valentines. Especially when they come 34 to a box. We have to buy 2 boxes anyway, so this year I let Traylor pick out a set for the boys and a set for the girls.

She is intent on writing nicely.

Now she is just being a nerd.

Gliteracy Day

Friday the 13th was a great day for Traylor. She had so much fun. My mom came down last night from Utah and was able to go to Traylor's Gliteracy Day. Gliteracy Day is where they combine art and reading for the students. All the 1st and 2nd graders go to the classrooms and the teachers read 1 to 2 books to them and they do projects. One classroom they made a Valentine pencil man, Valentines card, and a magnet. One classroom they decorated cookies. Here's Traylor with her friend Jazmin decorating the cookies. She did a great job.

So this is what I made for dinner last night. It was so yummy!!

Traylor thinks otherwise. Notice Robert and I are already done eating. Yes she is crying because she has to eat it all. Not just the potatoes. I have made this before and yet she still threw a fit ... Oh well she knows the drill......

She does this hold her nose, inject food thing often.

She almost threw it up and I said, (nice loving mom that I am), You throw it up and you eat it up. She didn't throw it up.

I think these will make for some great pictures one day when Traylors kids won't eat their dinner.

Traylor has been having this really bad cough lately. It only shows its face at night. We have given her medication and rubbed Mentholatum on her chest for the last couple nights.

So last night I decide to give the medication and her rub down a little bit earlier to see if it'll work before she is in bed.

Well........................

It didn't. Last night was terrible! I thought she was going to hock up a lung. I went in at 9:30 and gave her some more nighttime cough medicine. I then stayed with her for awhile and rubbed her back and chest. It calmed her a little.

But then she was calling for me at 10:30. So again I stayed with her awhile. I finally went to sleep around midnight. But she kept waking me up with her coughing. It sounded so bad that my chest hurt from hearing her.

In the morning she was so tired from her interrupted sleep. But she doesn't cough really during the day, so she was fine.

So tonight to be on the safe side, I went and bought medicine just for cough and a plug in for the wall that has Mentholatum in it. I also put the humidifier in her room.

So GO FIGURE that now that I have everything needed to help her sleep good, she isn't coughing anymore.

I guess the jokes on me.... LOL

We had an awesome Christmas this year. Traylor made out like a bandit!!! I saw a trend this year. Easy bake ovens!!! Need I say more. but alas I will. It was one of the only things that Traylor wanted. And of course mom waits till the last minute to buy it and they are none available ANYWHERE!!!! I looked online and at every store.

Sold out.

Are you kidding me.

These were huge when I was a kid and I couldn't believe that they were that big again.
So stressing that I was, I called my mom in Utah and she just happened to be at Walmart. She looked in the their toy department and they had 2. So she picked it up for me. This I believe was Friday before Christmas. Well that night I just happened to go to walmart to buy stocking stuffers and such when I walk past the toy department and lo and behold 2 Easy bake Ovens. I hurriedly grabbed one and then a lady came by and grabbed the other one. CRAZY I tell ya.

So I called my mom early Saturday morning to tell her I found one. She ended up giving that one to a needy child so it worked out. She still sent down all the extra oven accessories that she had gotten for T.

I think Traylor has worn these shoes everyday since Christmas.

She is so happy!! She was baffled. How did Grandma know that Santa was bringing her an Easy Bake Oven? Ancient Chinese secret we said. hehe

We woke Traylor up to watch the ball drop and she couldn't even keep her eyes open.

But Robert was very excited!!!

When I asked Traylor this morning about watching the ball drop, she doesn't remember a thing. She can't remember how she got to her room. She is a very sound sleeper can you tell. LOL

Family Home Evening - Sierra Vista style

For family home evening this week we went and saw the Santa's from around the world. It was pretty interesting. At the main park in town, they have put up wooden Santa's from around the world with lights around the trees. They play christmas music too. Not like going to temple square but I'll take it. These two were Traylor's favorite Santa's.

And yes it did get very cold. I think it was 29 degrees out that night.

A couple nights ago Robert was pestering Traylor. (tickling her behind her ear, etc...) and she told him to stop. So Robert said if you can spell stop I will. The makings of a Vampire

So Halloween morning.....
Needed to get Traylors hair and make-up done for her Vampire costume.
Here she is before. Blond hair , blue eyes, etc..... (don't look @ the bathroom please)lol

Now I did her hair in sections. I had never used spray hair color before mind you. It is nasty stuff I don't think I will use it again. It gets everywhere.

I think that her hair looks cool two toned like this.

Her hair was very sticky and if you touched it, your hands were black.

And the finished product. When I started to comb it to put it up the color kind of came off giving the appearance of almost gray hair. Oh well... She didn't have her neck thingy on yet.

Now she is ready for the school parade.Isn't she just sooooo scaary and cute!!!!

Robert and I went over @ 6:00 and the husbands minded the house while MB and I took our kids around the block. The kids had fun. Aren is Ash a pokemon trainer. They made quite the haul. What a fun day!!!

(Traylor took a shower first thing when she got home. I didn't take a picture since she was naked but it was kind of cool to see the black run down her body and into the tub. It made the whole tub black. I had hoped that the black would come out of her very blond hair and it did. Just all over the tub. There is still a hint of it in her hair but you can't tell really. I still told her that if she wants any different colored hair for a costume, we are buying a wig!!! hehe)

Tonight was our ward's Trunk or Treat. We had fun. Traylor is a vampire this year. She is so cute!!! We didn't do the make up or hair tonight but we will for friday.

Primary Program

This last Sunday was our primary's program. And being a teacher in primary I got to sit on the stand with them. They did such a good job. It was a really nice program. Traylor did really good on both her parts. She didn't memorize them but she read it without help. And she had some pretty big words. I was so proud of her. I'll look forward to nest year. But hopefully it doesn't go by as fast as this year did.

Traylor had a great birthday party. It was a lot of fun. Even if the water was on the cold side. They didn't care.

Traylor was the only one to hit the pinata. It broke the first hit. (and this was after I had told the kids to hit lightly so that everyone could have a turn). cheap pinata I guess.

Traylor had a High School Muscial theme party. And no I didn't make the cake. First time though. I have made all of her other cakes.

Well it's done and over with.

Traylor is officially 8. She had an awesome day. I made her favorite breakfast, mountains. And by her plate I put her first gift. CAMP ROCK!!!! on dvd. She was so excited. She was like "mom, you tricked me". I told her she wasn't getting it. (you had to be there the day she whined all over Walmart for that dvd). They sang to her at school and then she got spanked with a fly swatter 8 times. She was laughing so hard when she told us. When she got off the bus we took her to the mall and now she has her ears pierced. I was so nervous more so than she was. She picked some cute pink flowers for her starter earrings. She didn't cry at all. She just kept saying ouch, ouch, ouch. I am so proud of her. For her birthday dinner we went to Golden Corral. It is her favorite. We had them sing to her and she loved it. When we got home she got presents from Grandma and us. She so wanted a MP3 player and my mom got her that. Also she wanted a DS Lite. And yes we got it for her. She had an awesome day. I made sure to get tons of pictures. Those will go up tomorrow. As for now I've got to go to sleep.................Bye

ears pierced....i'm a little nervous

Okay, so since like forever we have told Traylor that she can get her ears pierce when she is eight. It always seemed like such a long time in the future. Well....... It is happening Monday. I can't believe my little girl is going to be 8!!!! It goes so fast. I don't think she is nervous ...yet. I just watched an episode of John and Kate + 8 and Mady got her ears pierced. It just made me realize that I'll have to have them do both ears at once. I love that show, it was a good episode to have on today. :) I 'll post pictures of the big day. I'll have to rememeber to take some at the same time of holding her hand. Luckily Grandma will be here to help too. yeah for Grandma!!!

Traylor's party is Saturday. I was going to do it at the Cove,( an indoor pool and waterslide place, just like Surf and Swim but cooler) but then the weather is still in the high 8o's , low 90's and so I said what the heck it'll still be warm enough outside. So we are having it at home. No extra added expense. It should be fun. We are doing a High School Musical theme this year. Yea us!!!

I am so looking forward to tons of screaming 8 year olds. NOT!!!........ well maybe a little.

So now I'm done with the Twilight series and I'm not sure what to think. I loved the books. But I'm not so sure that I liked the ending. Why didn't they fight, is it just me or is it weird about the Jacob/Reneseme thing, what's going to happen next, etc.....

I'm sure it's done that way so to keep us hanging and for also the possibility for another book.

sorry that I have not posted for awhile. I was having problems with posting pictures on my blog. and then it has been a week. :)

Two weekends ago Robert went four-wheeling with some friends and he wrecked. He really bruised his right leg good. Well then on friday the 22nd his work had a BBQ. They were playing kickball, yes I said kickball, and he hurt his right ankle. So now his whole leg is retarded. :) Monday he woke up and his whole leg and foot was swollen really bad. We took pictures (i'll put them up later too).

Tuesday I get a call at work from the school nurse. They were doing a science experiment and Traylor got hurt. It shouldn't surprise me by now. They were making popcorn with hot oil and some of the oil got on Traylor's face. There was good supervision and the kids were far away but just our luck. The sad part about it was that school pictures were the next day. I hope they turned out alright. We put a little bit of make up on the blister and we'll just wait and see. It has healed nicely as of today though. (i have pictures too)

Robert finally called the doctors office about his leg and he got in on Wednesday. It doesn't look like a break they said but it might have a hairline fracture, so they sent him to get an x-ray. As of today we have still not heard what the results of that x-ray are but I guess he's okay. He's walking on it and it doesn't hurt him.

We went fishing saturday and it started raining. When we came home we think there was a power surge because our computers and our cooler were not working. Robert has his computer up and running. and we have to wait till tomorrow to call for the cooler. I still can't post pictures because everything is on my computer. Robert had to order new parts for it. So no pictures untill at least friday.

So I thinking let this be a good week. I don't need anything else to go wrong. Oops did I just jinx myself. I hope not.

Hiking Coronado National Memorial

Well we had a fun Saturday. I have pictures but the camera battery needs to charge so I'll put those up tomorrow.

We went hiking up Coronado National Memorial. It's about 30 minutes south of us. We've lived here 3 1/2 years and have never been here. So we decided to try it out.

1. We first went to the visitor's center and Traylor got to try on some conquistador's armor. It was very heavy. She looked so cute that I had to take pictures.

2. Next we drove to Coronado Peak. It had started to rain and the forest ranger said to not get out if it was thunder and lightening. Well It was downpouring. So we just waited it out. The thing is there were 2 cars there and 0 people. The next thing we see are 2 people coming down the trail soaking wet. It was pretty funny.

After 10 minutes we were good to go. Traylor absolutely loves hiking. 3.She had to be first in line. We'd get to a bend and she'd say we're there and then it would still be going up. I've got to say I am pretty out of shape. I was pretty winded. 4. The elevation at the top was 6864 feet. The view is beautiful. You could see the Arizona/Mexico border and then into Mexico. 5. There were some beautiful wildflowers and cacti along the trail.

6. Traylor practically ran back down the trail. You'll see....

Next we drove back down the canyon and went back to the visitor's center. Traylor had to use the potty. :)

We then went for another hike. Mind you I thought the first hike was enough for 1 day. This next hike was to see a cave. We had to take flashlights since it is unimproved. Their word not mine. 7. This time we followed the river for awhile and then headed up. I was beat. My legs were going to kill me the next day I thought. (correct. They do). We had to stop alot this time. This hike was almost 1 mile both ways. Plus going into the cave. Ugh. Traylor was a trooper. I told Robert that the cave better be worth it.

8. It was awesome. Getting down into the cave was tricky. 9. Water was running down the limestone and made it really slippery. But once we got down... WOW is the word. We actually saw a squirrel down there too. We didn't go to far into the cave just enough to get a feel for it. 10. Going up the limestone wasn't quite as bad. On the way down the hill another family was heading up. Good luck I was thinking. :) 11. There was some very pretty flowers on the trail.

We plan on going back again. There are more trails to explore.

Once you see the pictures, this will all make sense. Hopefully.

But man do my legs hurt!!!!

Robert and I have been enjoying watching the Olympics at night. It makes it very hard to wake up in the morning since the they usually don't get over till 11:30ish. We've enjoyed watching the gymnastics and swimming. Last night was just awesome to watch the USA team get another gold medal. Of course the best part is that Michael Phelps got his 8TH GOLD MEDAL!!!!

So this past week Robert and I have been doing the cabbage soup diet. (It is also called the fat-burning diet.) You do it for 7 days and each day has something different to eat along with the soup. We've done it before and both lost 10 lbs each. Robert had gone to the doctor and his cholesterol is up so we needed to do something to help it. Traylor loved it because she got to watch and make sure mommy and daddy didn't cheat. Everyday soup and water were givens.

Can I just say that I am so sick of cabbage right now and I love cabbage.

We started on Sunday.
Eat lots of soup and only fruits. Also you can have cranberry juice to drink. check
Monday
Eat lots of soup and only vegetables. Plus we got a plain baked potato that night. yumo! check (I was already having a hard time eating the soup)
Tuesday
Eat lots of soup and have fruits and vegetables, no baked potato. check
Wednesday
Eat lots of soup and 8 bananas and as much skim milk as you want. check (Robert had 1%, and whoa that is alot of bananas!!) I had to make a new batch of soup tonight and it didn't quite taste the same. Robert liked it better. go figure. By today I so needed the potassium. I had leg cramp all day and night. not fun
Thursday
Eat at least 1 bowl of soup and 6 tomatoes and 10 to 20 oz of beef. check (I could barely get that 1 bowl down) "(
Friday
Eat at least 1 bowl of soup and up to 3 steaks, all you can eat vegetables. (Robert has decided that we are stopping today. He doesn't care for brown rice and that is tomorrow. I'm okay with that. ") )

So as of right now, I lost 6 lbs and Robert lost 7 lbs. We realized we were drinking sweetened cranberry juice and not unsweetened and think that is the reason we didn't loose like last time.

Yes we are crazy but it got my coworkers eating healthy. They saw me bringing in all my fruits and veggies and they started doing the same. so... sweet.

We'll probably do it again but give me a month to look at cabbages. hehe

I am ready for a real meal.

Hey all. Sorry that I haven't been posting. Alot has happened this week.

Robert was fixing a computer for a friend last thursday and somehow broke the circuit for power to that room. So we were with out power till today. (just in that room and a few other misplaced outlets) The people who own this home are retarded. We still can't find the breaker box for this room. The electrician came today and jimmy rigged it so we'd have power. He'll be back tuesday to fix it.

Also last thursday the honda wouldn't shift gears so we had to take that in to get fixed.

Then on monday our dog Rootbeer was soooo not himself and by the time Robert and I got home for lunch he was in pain. So we called the vet and they said it sounded like he was constipated or had hip problems and to bring him in. Well some xrays, bloodwork and several hundred dollars later, we have medicine for him. And the vet's advice ... your dog is fat. Rootbeer is just a big 110 lb black lab. hehe He swims every day. (yea the dog swims in the pool more than we do) LOL I don't know how he is fat. And the kicker.. we wake up tuesday morning and Rootbeer is his same old self. :) The things you do for your pets.

The monsoons are in full force this week. It is so beautiful when it rains. I just love standing out on the porch watching it come down. I've taken some pictures but they don't come out like I would like.

On the plus we went and got all of Traylor's school supplies on wednesday. She is so excited to start 2nd grade in 10 days. :)

Well I was trying to put a picture of Traylor in Utah on here but I guess you can't copy photos from someone else's blog. So you will just have to wait till she comes home monday. My mom says that Traylor has 5 camera's of pictures. whoa.... Let's see how good they turn out. Traylor tends to cut something off when she takes pictures. :) Not much happening here. Robert and I went out last night. We went and saw Iron Man. Very good show. Robert Downey Jr is awesome in it. I was a little weary to go and see it but.... I liked it. Now Indiana or the Hulk next date.

A tribute to MARLAND. Marland was the janitor at Bonneville when I went there. You couldn't go to any game without him being there cheering the Lakers on. His poems and L-A-K-E-R-S CHEERS were famous. He will be missed. Here are a few things I found out about this amazing person. I tried to find a picture but... couldn't.

When Marland Turner passed away last Sunday, Bonneville High School lost perhaps its biggest fan.
Turner, a fixture at BHS sports events for many years, died at age 63. He had worked as a custodian at Bonneville High for more than 40 years, and was fiercely vocal in his love for the Lakers, an energetic fixture on the sidelines.
Turner, a Nebraska native who lived most of his life in Utah, also was a torch bearer preceding the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

February 7: Lots of small towns today, we're covering a good volume of torchbearers the last 2 days. One of the best moments of the relay is in Ogden early in the morning. Marland Turner is a high school janitor, he writes poems before every football and basketball game, and hasn't missed a game in nearly 30 years - the students absolutely adore him. He is the true definition of community inspiration, and when he runs, the ENTIRE school runs with him, probably 1000 people cramming both sides of the street and making their way down the route.

Marland Turner, a janitor at Bonneville High School in Washington Terrace, Utah, near Ogden. A 1965 graduate, he took the humble job in 1974 and has swept up hearts ever since. Early Thursday morning, the marching band played and the student body chanted ''Mar-land! Mar-land!'' as he jogged by with the flame on Marland Turner Day in Washington Terrace. The faculty paid for his torch as a souvenir.As he rode the van to his starting point, Turner, a tireless local volunteer, had composed a poem for the day, as he does for Bonneville High's sports teams: ''Roses are red, violets are blue, today I hope/ your run comes true.''

An awesome Anniversary

For our 10 year Anniversary we went to Phoenix. We had driven through Phoenix many times but had never stopped to see what it was all about. I picked my mom up on thursday from the airport. She was watching Traylor for us. Friday, we drove up to Phoenix. It's about a 3 hour drive. We checked in at our hotel and then headed out to go shopping. Our first stop was IKEA. Man is that place huge. We had a fun time looking at stuff. We spent a couple hours there. Then off to the Diamondbacks baseball game. We had a ton of fun.

The game went into overtime (0-0)and then in the 10th inning........ HOMERUN!!! The Diamondbacks won. Yea!!!! Here is the guy that hit the homerun. Chad Tracy. They had fireworks after the game that were pretty cool.

On saturday we went shopping again. We were looking for sandals for Robert. Found them at Dillards. Then we went looking for this place to eat that my friends had recommended. It's called the Organ Stop Pizza. A guy plays the organ while you eat. We didn't eat there. I just took a picture. :) We went by the temple but the pictures didn't turn out at night. So sunday we drove by the temple again. (I figured since we wouldn't make it to church with traveling that this would cut it.)

Back home to celebrate Father's Day. Here is our happy family.

Traylor left with my mom monday morning. She'll be in Utah for 2 weeks. What'll I do!!! I am actually missing her already.

Trip to San Diego

T-lo and I went to San Diego on the 25th of April. A dear friend of mine got married. It was a beautiful wedding at a park. I am so happy for my friend. :)

My friend Jeri and her Husband Steve. After the wedding T-lo and I went and walked around the San Diego Temple. If you look really, really close you'll see T-lo laying down on the bench in front of the temple.

The next day we went to Legoland. We had alot of fun.

Everything is made of Legos. Even the Rhinoceros.

This ride was fun. You got in your fire truck, raced down the tiny street, put out the fire and then raced it back down the street. Alot harder than it looks when there was only the 2 of us and the other firetrucks had families of 3 or more. I got a work out I tell you.

The next day we went back to Legoland. We could get in for a buck each and our flight didn't leave til 6pm. T-lo so wanted to do the water rides the first day but mom wasn't prepared. So, today T-lo brought her bathing suit and towel and had her some fun.

This ride was my favorite. It lifted you up like a dragon might. It was awesome. T-lo didn't quite think so.

Well there you have it. Our San Diego trip in a nutshell. It was a fun 4 days. We did go swimming and other things I just didn't want to bore you. I can't believe that it has been 2 weeks since we went. I guess time flies when you have to....... work. :(

Well, so sorry that I haven't wrote anything this week. I have been sick. I actually took a day off. It was the best thing I could've done. I have a hard time calling in sick. So, not much to report this week. T-lo did have her first softball game on saturday. They did okay for their first game. They lost 15-5. But T-lo did hit the ball and get on first base. She even made it across home plate. She was so excited!! I haven't put the pictures on the computer yet. As soon as I do I'll put them on. I probably won't write much until the 29th. T-lo and I are going to San Diego this weekend. One of my good friends is getting married. So it is a mommy/daughter weekend. We are going to the beach and Legoland. So I'll plenty of pictures to put on when I get home. Bert will have a girl free weekend. I'm sure he will just play WOW all weekend. :) He will done with his math class at the end of may and then can get his associates finally!!! He's going to start 2 history classes online for the summer. Busy Busy... Well I need to go to sleep so I can wake up at 4:20 to go work out. Love ya all.

The week in review

A lot of things happened this week.

First my Dad came to visit. My Dad is a truck driver and he was able to come to Az and see us for a day. He got in late monday night and when T-lo woke up tuesday morning I said "look out the window". She saw papa's big red truck and was so excited. We went to dinner that night with him. Also on tuesday the battery in the Durango decided to quit and we had to get a new one. (battery that is). hehe

Next came Friday.

We took T-lo's class fish back to school. We were only suppossed to have him for spring break. We actually had him for 3 weeks. It was sad to take him back. It was fun taking care of him.

Also on friday, T- lo lost her 8th tooth. I didn't even know she had a loose tooth. Plus she has major allergies right now.

Saturday was opening ceremonies for Girls Pony League Softball. T-lo is on the Lucky Charms. She looked so cute in her uniform. She didn't understand why she had to wear the pants and socks. Look at her form. Nice!

Also on saturday we went to the carnival but I don't have any pictures. It was fun. We had an eventful week. Hope you had a great one too.

Well..... we definately got a taste of what it would be like with 2 kids. T-lo had a sleepover and man they are wild. This friend has been over before but yesterday and today they were crazy!!! They are both girly girls and screamers. I thought Bert and I were going to loose our minds. But on the other hand they keep each other busy and we could actually get stuff done. Pick your battles I guess.
